FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do I need the free plugin to use Pro?+
Yes. PulseViews Pro is an extension that hooks into the free plugin's tracking engine and database. Install PulseViews (free) first, then install Pro on top. Both show as separate plugins in your Plugins list.
Can I install Pro on multiple sites?+
Yes — unlimited sites. There's no licence key system. You receive a ZIP file you can install on as many WordPress sites as you need, forever.
What does "lifetime updates" mean?+
All future versions of PulseViews Pro are included in your one-time purchase. When a new version is released, download it from the link in your purchase email.
Does it work with caching plugins?+
Yes. Switch to JavaScript tracking mode in Settings → Counting → Tracking mode. JS tracking fires via sendBeacon after the page loads from cache. Tested with WP Rocket, LiteSpeed Cache, W3 Total Cache, and Cloudflare.
How is payment processed?+
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. After payment you receive a download email within seconds.
Is geographic tracking GDPR-compliant?+
Geographic tracking is disabled by default — you must explicitly enable it. When behind Cloudflare, the country comes from a header with no external API call. Otherwise ip-api.com is used (full disclosure in plugin readme). IPs are never stored in plain text.
